I have seen a lot of women hiking in skirts lately. At first I thought "odd" (I still do for the denim skirts I saw), now I think "hmmm, maybe they are on to something!"
I have a North Face running skirt I love - the reason is I always have to wear long compression shorts under my regular running shorts to stop my chunky thighs rubbing. These skirts have those shorts built in, and look sooooo much nicer than the double short combo! I have a really nice hiking skirt I love too!
I'm not much of a skirt person, so am thrilled to see outdoorsy skirts which are way more me than the mainstream skirts out there!
