It's easy - go to
Be The Match, look over the health guidelines (and unlike giving blood here in the US, being foreign DOESN'T disclude you!), if you qualify, fill out the online forms, order a kit, swab your cheek, send it back and voila, you're on the Bone Marrow donor registry and may be able to help someone fighting blood disease!

oh that is awesome. i can't even donate blood in the US!
I can't donate blood here either (mad cow disease anyone?), but the bone marrow people seem to be way more sensible and less exclusionary. The tests you get if you become a match though are far more extensive!
You are definitely making us, encouraging us to see ther\ better sides of ourselves. For this i am truly grateful. I hope your Thanksgiving day is special. does Hawaii do anything different and unique?
I think if you're Hawaiian the Thanksgiving meal is somewhat oriental in style, otherwise I have seen giant blow up turkey's on peoples houses, so much the same. Not sure what i'm doing, but I want to make sure a swim is in the mix somewhere!
