Goals - week 1

Goals - Week 1 - 
Green good, Red bad, Purple in the middle

- Walked to work - 2
- Walked around neighborhood - 1
- Packed lunches - 4
- Swimming - 2
- Gym/Yoga - 0  :0(
- Diet Sodas - 4
- Ice Tea - one half jug (~2l)......so iced tea is just not as refreshing as diet soda....searching for an alternative
- Eating well - Yes! 
- Signed up for pottery - Yes! (but doesn't start until October 18th)

Impressive! You will motivate me yet! I am walking regularly, taking an Italian class, and eating wisely. I am eager to hear more about the pottery. Will you be using a wheel?

Re beverages: how about ice water with a slice of cucumber and a slice of lemon in it? I have found that refreshing--but I am not dealing with the heat that you are.

Yes wheel throwing - haven't done it since junior school and am really looking forward to it!

I should try the lemon water - maybe I could make up a whole pitcher. My real thing is fizzy water, but i've been trying not to buy so much as it's expensive and I don't like the packaging.....theres got to be something refreshing yet good for you out there!

I also find sparkling water much more refreshing than regular water. The only thing that comes close is regular water with lemon and crush ice (has to be crushed, not cubes). When I was little my parents used to buy sparking water in a big jug/keg type thing. I haven't seen that available for purchase though.

4 packed lunches isn't 5 though....but yes, it's better than before, so i'm happy with week 1.

I need to look at siphons and see how much the cartridges would run at vs buying in the store. I've never seen fizzy in jugs, that would be excellent. Stian and I drunk so much fizzy water on the Italy trip i'm feeling guilty at all that plastic waste.......so no buying it for a while....
